Advanced InDesign Course

The InDesign Advanced course is aimed at those who are comfortable with the basics of using InDesign, and want to look at some of the more advanced functionality available in InDesign. The course is ideally suited to those who have attended the beginners course, or are already comfortable with most of the topics covered within it.

During this course you will learn how to work with more advanced styling such as nested styles, object styles and table styles, we will create an automated table of contents, use the liquify and alternate layout functions and look at how to generate captions automatically from image metadata. You will also work with interactive features, learning how to create pdf forms from within InDesign, add hyperlinks, page transitions and other interactive features and even use buttons to show and hide content on a page.

About the Instructor

Andy Gardiner is an Adobe Certified Design Master, CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer and Adobe Certified Instructor with over 20 years experience in teaching the Adobe product range.

He is the author of Designing the Adobe InDesign Way published by Packt Publishing, and as a specialist in the Adobe CC product range has amassed a total of 20 Adobe Certified Expert accreditations.
