Take your Adobe InDesign skills to an advanced level in 2 days

This two-day Advanced InDesign training course is designed for experienced Adobe InDesign users who want to work faster, more efficiently, and with greater control over complex documents. It builds on existing InDesign knowledge and focuses on the professional features and workflows used in real-world publishing environments.

This course is part of our wider range of professional InDesign training. If you want to compare course options or view all available InDesign training, you can see the full range on our main category page:

Advanced InDesign training focuses on creating documents that are robust, flexible, and easy to maintain over time. Many experienced users develop workarounds or manual processes simply because they have never been shown how InDesign’s more advanced styling, automation, and layout features are intended to be used.

Over two days, you will explore advanced text, object, and table styling, including nested styles, object styles, and table styles. You will also work with document automation features such as tables of contents, captions generated from image metadata, and advanced layout control using liquid and alternate layouts. The course also covers interactive and digital workflows, including PDF forms, hyperlinks, buttons, and interactive document elements.

All training includes post-course support, with access to selected supporting resources to help reinforce the techniques covered and assist with applying advanced InDesign workflows in your own documents.
