Our 2 day beginners Photoshop course introduces new users to concepts like resolution, colour modes, and layers for the first time.
You will learn how to make your first selections with a variety of selection tools, work with non-destructive layer masks, and use adjustment layers, smart filters, smart objects, cropping tools and many other features of Photoshop. By the end of the course you will also be comfortable working with a variety of cloning tools to move, reproduce or remove elements within your images, and we will even look at more recent functionality within the software such as the sky replacement option and the neural filters.
If you are new to software and want to get to a competent level, whilst working with best practice techniques, this is the ideal Photoshop course for you.
Designed for users who have already attended the beginners course or have equivalent experience, this course provides experienced users with the knowledge and hands-on practice needed to take their skills to a more advanced level. During the two days you will learn to create selections from colour channels, apply gradients to masks as well as refine existing masks for example with feathering. We look at working with nested smart objects, use blend modes, correct colour casts, create and edit actions, work with camera raw and lots more.
If you want to move beyond just the basics, the Advanced Photoshop course is the next step in that journey, allowing you learn a wealth of new techniques that will make your work easier.
