High quality classroom training is vital if you and your team are going to learn how to make the most of the Adobe product range. Established in 1995, Highlander has over a decade of experience of delivering Adobe training courses (and before that Macromedia and eHelp). Our Adobe trainers are actively encouraged to get involved in the Adobe community and as a result run User Groups, volunteer as community experts on the Adobe forums, and in many cases work with Adobe on alpha testing new versions of the products long before they are released (we are currently helping test CS5 products).

Traditional Adobe training courses involved attending a class with an instructor, listening for 2 or 3 days and taking lots of notes, and then over the next few months forgetting 90% of what you learnt.  The class might have been good, but the lack of any follow on learning or hands on practice removed a big chunk of the benefit and hindered the development of skills.

With this in mind we have taken a blended learning approach to our Adobe training courses, combining classroom training days (including plenty of hands on exercises) with 6 months access to online learning content developed by our instructors including video tutorials, hands on exercises, skills tests and more.  This is true blended learning, as oppose to just throwing in a free DVD so it can be called "blended", as some companies do.

The result, is that when you attend an Adobe training course with Highlander you are actively encouraged to continue developing your skills, extending them further with additional topics, and turning what you have learnt into habit through regular practice. During this process you get full support from the instructors via the course forums, enabling you to get clarification on anything that you find you are struggling with.
