Most importantly however they have extensive hands on professional experience working in some of the worlds most succesful organisations.

Alex
Alex's background in the technology industry goes back over 20 years, during which time he has worked for organisations such as the Metropolitan Police, Plessey Naval Systems, and Abbott Mead Vickers. Alex has been a fulltime instructor with Highlander for a number of years, having been involved in training for the last 15 years, and is a regular contributor to beta programmes for Adobe's core products.
Alex is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) for InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, ActionScript and DreamWeaver. In addition he also teaches courses on CSS, Fireworks, Quark, PHP and MySQL.
Kevin
Kevin has over 9 years experience in web and database development, gained with clients such as the BBC, Cellnet, Motorola and the NatWest Bank.
He is one of the most experienced ColdFusion® and Spectra® consultants in Europe, having been involved with ColdFusion since its inception at Allaire. He is credited with contributions to many early HTML, Visual Basic and Internet books, as well as numerous magazine articles and has been a speaker at conferences such as MAX, and CF Europe. Kevin is an Adobe Authorised Instructor and Certified ColdFusion Developer and trains exclusively for Highlander.
Matt
Matt is a Chartered Marketer with over 15 years experience managing internet marketing campaigns for companies including Argos, Dixons, IBM, Lindy, Mothercare, Reed Business Information and Sony. He is a Google Certified Engineer, having been trained at Googles headquarters in Mountain View, California. Matt teaches Google Analytics training courses exclusively for Highlander.
Matthew
Matthew has 20 years of experience as a user assistance and eLearning professional in the software industry. Much of this time was spent managing a team of writers and trainers at a UK-based consulting company, before enjoying a period in the U.S. as Director of the WinWriters Conference.
Matthew has a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from Bristol University in the UK. He is an Adobe Certified Instructor, and is also a Certified Instructor for WebWorks ePublisher Pro.
Pete
Pete is a creative, self-motivated and versatile individual with significant experience in the field of design across a broad range of media and internationally recognised as an award-wining illustrator. Fully computer literate with an extensive knowledge of modern media production processes and proficient in a wide variety of software. Pete is an ACE and ACI and runs courses on a range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress, DreamWeaver and Flash.
Pete has done work for a broad range of international clients over the years including Coca Cola, Nestlé, Guinness and McDonald’s plus numerous book and magazine publishers.
Scott
Scott is a publishing specialist with extensive experience in both the repro and newspaper sectors. He has designed complex digital workflows, undertaken system testing and delivered end user training to organisations such as the Guardian Newspapers, Evening Times and Sunday Herald. Scott has presented to IFRA, the worlds leading association for Newspaper Publishing on digital asset management and also holds the CIPD Certificate in Training Practice. Scott is an Adobe Certified Expert and Adobe Certified Instructor for InDesign
Simon
Simon is an experienced senior ColdFusion consultant having completed projects with ColdFusion for organisations including Hemming Group, Virgin Cars, Touch Local and the National Maritime Museum.
He is an Adobe Certified Advanced Coldfusion Developer, an Adobe Certified Instructor for ColdFusion and a Sun Certified Java Programmer and trains exclusively for Highlander. He has a wide knowledge of not only ColdFusion but a range of complimentary technologies such as XML, Ajax, Fusebox and CFEclipse.
Toby
Toby has worked in the IT industry for almost 20 years, for companies such as British Aerospace and South Bedfordshire District Council. He has extensive training experience having run courses for organisations such as the BBC, the Open University, Fidelity Investments, Egg, Merck, Glaxo, JP Morgan Stanley and the European Central Bank.
Toby has experience with a wide range of technologies including Acrobat, ColdFusion, PHP, MySQL and Captivate. These days he focuses mainly on Rich Internet Development using Flash, Flex, ActionScript 3 and Eclipse. Toby is an ACE and ACI for both Flash and Flex.
