I’m starting to like Google Chrome, it’s faster than Firefox and starting to get some nice addons. One thing that really bugs me though is the way when it’s in full screen mode it sits above your Vista toolbar irrelevant of whether you have the toolbar set to be on top or not.

I know its a small thing but having to minimise Chrome every time you want to get to another app just gets irritating. There’s a lot of people commenting on this in various forums and hopefully Google will come up with a fix soon, but in the meantime just hit F11 twice when chrome is in full screen mode and it then behaves itself.

Adobe’s upgrade system has historically allowed you to upgrade from the last 3 versions. This means if you have CS, CS2 or CS3 you can currently upgrade to CS4.

Today Adobe announced that CS5 is coming on the 12th of April. Once that is shipping and assuming Adobe maintain the same policy on upgrades then you will need CS2, CS3 or CS4 to upgrade to CS5. If you have CS it will most likely mean a whole new purchase, with no upgrade option.

For ages when I train InDesign, I always get the question – once you have created a star or polygon within InDesign, can you change the number of sides/points afterwards. Each time I would tell the trainee – no.

I have never seen any documentation, notes, tips, etc that tell me this was possible.

However, I was playing around InDesign a couple of days ago, creating polygons, and I suddenly thought – what if i draw the shape, double-click on the polygon tool and change the number of sides, whilst my shape is still selected?
